While most children grow up just trying to find their way in this crazy world, Lynée Marie Gordon grew up trying to understand her intuitive abilities and why she was so f’n sensitive all the time. Now, this Colorado-based empathic vibrational energy worker and co-founder of HEAL GOOD COLLECTIVE, integrates her sound therapy and intuitive pings into her healing offerings for the collective.

We caught up with Lynée to learn more about her own healing journey and what inspires her to help people heal.

Healer Name ( = street you grew up on + birthstone):

Catalina Opal

Healing Specialty:

Vibrational Energy Worker

When did you first realize you had a gift to help people heal?

LMG: I’ve been sensitive forever, and always thought of it negatively. It wasn’t until I started training with energy work that I realized my sensitivity is a superpower. Once I identified being an empath as a gift, I started practicing my intuitive abilities on tons of people because I wanted to see if I was crazy. Turns out, I’m not. Or maybe, I am? Either way, it works.

As an empath, what’s your healing superpower?

LMG: I can feel into people’s hearts. If you’re in my space, I can feel into your heart space and then help soothe a hurting heart, or open up dialog about a full heart. This energetic dialog gives me direction when I’m doing sound therapy on someone, because their heart is my guide.

You’ve identified as a business development boss lady in your career — what led you to shift from the corporate world into the healerspace?

LMG: Trauma. I wanted to heal from my own trauma that kept resurfacing. I decided to deal with it head on, so I started seeking help from all different kinds of healers. Along that journey, I found my love for sound therapy and got certified, which was a natural progression. As I was being healed, I was training to heal others. For certification, I needed hours, so I leveraged my business network and started practicing on my colleagues. I started speaking more authentically in my business interactions, and my fear about being judged for being too woo-woo for the business world started to present itself as a false belief.

Can you tell me more about your trauma and your own healing journey?

LMG: I needed to confront a childhood trauma in order to move forward in my life and receive the love I knew deep down I deserved. I never worked with mediums and shamans, so I had to open my mind. I wasn't scared of it, it just wasn't my world. My first experience was with a shaman that literally plugged my spirit back into my body. Without even touching me, he pulled pain out of my sacral chakra, from my back.

From that point forward, when I wanted to access that feeling of healing, I would meditate and realized I could do the healing myself. I started googling, and found that you can do energy work on yourself. (surprise!) I continued the work in pulling pain out of my body and it blew my heart and mind wide open. I wasn't necessarily seeking more healers, but healers started popping into my path at the right time, and I allowed myself to receive. Within this permission to receive, I started owning my past and pain, speaking authentically, and healing from my trauma.

What inspired you to launch HEAL GOOD COLLECTIVE?

LMG: I kept getting clear downloads in the shower. It wasn't coming from me, it was coming from something else like guides / angels / source. I received a download that I needed to create this community, because there are so many people like me that need to experience healing on this level, but might not know where to start. I’m a natural connector and feel called to act as a conduit for people to have powerful healing experiences.

How do you manage to bridge your spiritual practice and busy entrepreneurial lifestyle?

LMG: What I love about my role in this collective is connecting with incredible practitioners / healers and carving out time in my busy day to receive. Offering a platform so other people can have these same healing experiences is healing for me. I live for it.

What’s one truth you’d like to say out loud to the collective?

LMG: I’m an animal freak! I love to play singing bowls and feed herds of wild turkeys outside my home. Turns out, I actually may be crazy. Or not? Either way, it works.
